-

Authorities on Thursday identified two men shot — one fatally — at a Pine Hills apartment on Christmas Day.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a gunman forced his way into a unit at West Oaks Apartments through a window about 5:30 p.m. and shot two men before shooting himself to death.

Investigators say the shooter, whose name has not been released, fired shots through the door of the apartment, then shot out a side window and broke into the unit, which houses two couples.

Once inside the apartment, the gunman shot 24-year-old Austin Duink and 21-year-old Donovan Cope, deputies say.

Two female occupants fled the apartment, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The gunman then shot himself, ac- cording to investigators. Duink was also fatally wounded. Cope, who was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Thursday. The Sheriff’s Office hasn’t named the shooter; his next of kin has not yet been notified, the agency said.
