Industrial property draws investors
Industrial and warehouse deals attracting investors include the purchase of warehouses in south Orlando and the construction of 603,000 square feet in Davenport.
K & J Consulting LLC, with Jason Mulligan and Keith Leombruno, purchased two warehouses totaling 15,080 square feet on 2 acres at 1027 W. Lancaster Road, Orlando. Paul A. Skinner Jr. and Paul A. Skinner III purchased the property for $950,000. Greg Rebman and Cory Kroeger with KR Properties represented the sellers. Chuck McNulty with the McNulty Group represented the buyer.
And at Park27 in Davenport, McCraney Property Company partnered with Northwestern Mutual on two speculative buildings — one with 189,000 square feet and the other with 414,000 square feet. The existing portion of Park27 serves as a distribution location for Amazon, Best Buy, Ford Motor Company and hhgregg.
Sales
NGKF Capital Markets represented the South Florida group GL Orlando Vista LLC in its $21.2 million purchase of Vista Centre Shoppes, with 98,411 square feet. NGKF also represented seller, CWCapital Asset Management LLC in its $71 million sale of Victoria Place Apartments and Charter Pointe Apartments, which has 676 units combined. …
Cantero Holdings LLC, purchased 21 acres at U.S. Highway 27 and O’Brien Road, Groveland, for $550,000. Bill Short, of Southeast Land Consultants Inc., represented the seller, Redus Florida Land LLC, doing business as Wells Fargo.

Humana Medical Plan Inc. leased 11,562 square feet at Centerpointe I, 240 E. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs. Emerson International Leasing Associate Zac Starkey represented the landlord. Mark Stratman, of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the tenant. And North American Risk Services expanded to 24,750 square feet at Centerpointe. ACRE Commercial Real Estate represented tenants including: Moe’s Southwestern Grill in Clermont Landing, with Weingarten Realty’s Patrick Frease representing the landlord; Jeremiah’s Italian Ice at Hunter’s Creek Promenade, with Kite Realty’s Daniel Martin representing the landlord. Jeremiah’s also leased at SODO with Jorge Rodriguez of Colliers representing the landlord. Guavate Puerto Rican Eatery leased in Southchase Village with Stacy Miller, of the Shopping Center Group, representing the tenant.
Construction
Oakland Park developer Crescent Communities submitted for permits for an amenity center, modeled after the nearby Meadow Marsh Estate, which was built in 1877. With 5,000 square feet, the facility was designed by Butler Moore Architects. Dix.Hite + Partners Inc. designed the outdoor space, which will have a resort-style pool, fire area, playground, trail and pond. Completion is slated for summer 2016.
