They were searching for evidence of hacking and stumbled upon more than 400 images of child pornography, court documents state. And investigators say some of those sexually explicit images were likely taken inside his Ocoee home.

Timothy Sedlak, 42, was arrested in September on federal charges of computer hacking after authorities said he used email lists to hack into a global charity’s network on suspicion they were linked to jihadist groups.

That case is out of New York, where the unnamed charity is based, and is still pending, court records show. He was back in a federal court room in Orlando on Monday facing new charges: possession and production of child pornography.

Before his arrest last week, Sedlak had been out on bail since Sept. 14 — about a week after authorities raided his Ocoee home on suspicion he was using nearly 30 computers inside to hack into the unnamed charity.

Investigators seized the computers and other electronic devices, including external hard drives, and started searching them for evidence. That’s when the say they found the images, documents say.

In all, authorities say they found 394 images of child porn that had been downloaded and saved on a computer and external hard drive seized from Sedlak’s home, according to the court documents.

They also found about 60 pornographic images that appeared to have been taken inside Sedlak’s home with a camera also used to take photos of himself and friends, the documents state.

Several of the images showed furniture matching some found inside a bedroom, and floor tile that appeared similar to some in a bathroom at Sedlak’s home, authorities said.

All of the images included an female infant and adult male, though neither of their faces can be seen in any of the photos, the report states.
