ACI, Wharton set for Casselberry project

Winter Park-based Associated Consulting International will lead the design team and Wharton-Smith Inc. won the construction contract on the initial phase of Casselberry’s $34 million Lake Concord Park development project.

Construction is set to start this spring on longstanding efforts to transform a once-blighted area on U.S. Highway 17-92 into apartments, restaurants and pedestrian walkways.

Developed by Integra Land Company, the apartments will include one-, two- and three-bedroom units. CASTO will place as many as four restaurants on the commercial parcels.
