■ NBA: Kings GM Vlade Divac decided against firing coach George Karl after the two met, ESPN reported. The Kings have lost eight of their last nine games. ... The Clippers suspended F Blake Griffin four games without pay for punching team trainer Matias Testi last month in Toronto. The Clippers also docked Griffin’s pay for an additional game because he broke his shooting hand during the incident. The suspension will begin when the injured Griffin is healthy and cleared to play. ... Bulls All-Star G/F Jimmy Butler will miss an additional three to four weeks with a left knee sprain, the team announced. He also will miss Sunday’s All-Star Game. Butler suffered the injury during the Bulls’ loss to the Nuggets on Friday, and he sat out Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolv­es and Monday’s loss to the Hornets. Bulls C Pau Gasol will replace Butler on the Eastern Conference All-Star team. ... Johnny Manziel “was heavily hung over on something” during a team meeting prior to the season finale. The Browns refuted a report that they lied about Manziel’s concussion symptoms to cover for him showing up hung over or under the influence. The team plans to release Manziel in March. ... Colts K
