PreCheck enrollment center set up at hotel

TSA has set up a temporary PreCheck enrollment center for Tuesday through Saturday at the Hampton Inn at 5767 T.G. Lee Blvd., near Orlando International Airport. The center will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. TSA PreCheck, which has been available to all fliers since 2013, allows passengers to forego emptying their pockets, taking off their belt and shoes and removing a laptop from their carry-on. To enroll, passengers need to apply online and begin a background check process, which can take up to one to three weeks. A five-year membership costs $85.
