Area Fishing Forecast

FRESHWATER:

Try Johns Lake in Winter Garden for bass and plenty of panfish. Bass fishing is best at night and the first few hours of daylight. Use Senko lures and Texas-rigged plastic worms along the bottom at night. Switch to plastic toads/ frogs, lizards and swimbaits at daybreak. Drift open waters with crickets for bluegills. SALTWATER:

Try cut crabs near the bridges in the Indian River for some huge black drum. Fish 50 pounds and over have been caught over the past month. Plenty of small fish, both black drum and redfish, are being caught also. Use live shrimp for mangrove snapper along with a few trout and smaller redfish and black drum.
