Man sentenced for vandalizing mosque
A man has been sentenced to spend four years and two months in prison for vandalizing a Florida mosque last year. A judge approved a plea agreement Monday for Joshua Killets, 28, of Juno Beach. Authorities say Killets smashed a dozen windows and tore down shutters at the Islamic Center of Palm Beach during a December 2015 break-in. North Palm Beach police arrested Killets after someone reported him bragging about the vandalism. The sentencing comes about two weeks after another man was charged with setting fire to the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce, about 50 miles to the north.
