Titans take playoff berth

Audrey Hawkins’ 48-yard pick-six secured a postseason appearance for Olympia as the Titans rallied to defeat Oak Ridge 27-13.

Olympia regained the lead on a Ronald Teague TD plunge and earned its first playoff berth since 2012 as 8A-5 runner-up.

The Titans (6-2, 3-1) came out firing early. Joe Milton and Jordan Underwood connected in the first quarter on a 38-yard touchdown pass and catch in the corner of the end zone. A few possessions later Milton found Underwood again, this time up the seam, for a 30-yard score.

After falling behind by two scores Oak Ridge (3-6, 1-3) stormed back to take a third quarter lead on two Anthony Miranda TDs.
