Oladipo returns for Amway homecoming

NBA players grow to change.

Coach firings, free-agent signings, trades — players experience it all.

Yet even for the Orlando Magic’s Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, Elfrid Payton and Nikola Vucevic, a game on Nov. 13 against the Oklahoma City Thunder felt anything but routine. They played against former teammate Victor Oladipo for the first time.

“It was definitely weird to see him on the other team,” Vucevic accustomed said.

Tonight strange.

Oladipo will play his first game at Amway Center since the Magic traded him, Ersan Ilyasova and the draft rights to Domantas Sabonis in June to the Thunder for Serge Ibaka.

Oladipo by now has played almost an entire season for the Thunder, but his return to Central Florida with another team still will feel jarring to some fans. The Magic drafted Oladipo second overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, and his exalted draft stat- also figures to feel
