Adventist Health builds new facility

The Celebratio­n community is getting a new 85,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility, Adventist Health System, the parent company of Florida Hospital, announced on March 30.

Adventist Care Center is a two-story, 120-bed facility, currently under constructi­on near Florida Hospital Celebratio­n House.

The center is expected to employ 150 people and has created 130 constructi­on jobs. It will open in April 2018. Perinatal Care Certificat­ion, joining 30 other hospitals in the nation with this designatio­n.
