“It was crazy,” Phillips said. “We didn’t give up. We fought back.”

It was a stunning conclusion for Bishop Moore (17-3), which came in as the No. 1 team in the Sentinel Super Six. The Hornets rallied from a 10-6 deficit to tie the score late in the third quarter.

“We’re pretty fortunate,” Lake Highland coach said. “We thought we controlled the tempo early on. In the second half, they got away from us.”
