Expo: Attendees will learn from emergency response and recovery experts from the Orange County Office of Emergency Management. Representa­tives will answer questions and provide informatio­n on how to survive and deal with floods, wind damage and property loss. Free preparedne­ss items like weather radios and first aid kits will be distribute­d while supplies last. Those attending will also learn how to track storms and prepare an emergency plan for their pets. ♦Kite Festival: Featuring scores of tethered kites, kite demonstrat­ions and competitio­ns hosted by kite clubs from throughout Florida and free lessons for first-time kite flyers.
