Dramatic 911 calls reveal the chaotic scene at the Fiamma warehouse where five employees were gunned down June 5, and one caller told dispatchers: “Oh, my God. I can’t believe he didn’t shoot me.”

“He pointed the gun at me and he said, ‘Get out,’ ” said the woman, who had just arrived for her first day of work as a temporary employee.

But the front doors were locked and the lights were off.

“I heard gunshots when I was walking to go in, and I thought, ‘God, is that gunshots?’ And I thought, ‘No,’ ” she told dispatchers.

She said she entered through the building’s side doors and saw a man slumped in his chair.

“He had to have been [shot],” the woman said. “I didn’t see blood, but I thought he was sleeping.”

The Orange County Sheriff ’s Office on Friday night released seven 911 calls from that morning.

Another caller described the scene as “like something out of a movie.”

“One of the ex-employees came in — who got fired — is shooting them, is shooting up the place right now as we speak,” the caller said.

That caller said she was on the phone with her fiance as he was working in the warehouse, “and all of the sudden I hear gunshots and everybody started running.”

Her fiance said he recognized the shooter as a former employee, 45-yearold John Neumann Jr.

“You never thought this could happen to you,” the caller told a dispatcher.

Neumann had entered an unlocked door at the RV accessories manufacturer on Forsyth Road at about 8 a.m. that morning armed with a handgun, according to the Orange County Sheriff ’s Office.

Neumann fatally shot five employees: manager Robert Snyder, 69; Kevin Lawson, 47; Brenda Montanez-Crespo, 44; Kevin Clark, 53; and Jeff Roberts, 57.

Snyder and Lawson were killed first.

Neumann then went to the break room, where he killed the other three victims before turning the gun on himself.

A Fiamma receptionist told 911 operators she fled the building after hearing gunshots and seeing a coworker lying on the floor in the lobby.

“I went to the bathroom and I came back and heard a pop and somebody’s come in the building and shot some people that I work with,” the receptionist said.

Workers fled the bloody scene, and some hid behind the building, according to the callers.

One woman called 911 to report a panicked man had hopped a fence and run to her home near Fiamma pleading for help.

She did not open the door because she was frightened but called deputies on his behalf.

“A man hopped our wall and banged on our door and said, ‘Can you please call 911? I work at an awning business on Forsyth, and someone is shooting and we all ran for our lives,” the caller said.

The Sheriff’s Office on Friday also released one incident report from the shooting, but it had minimal information.

According to the report, a deputy arrived at 8:05 a.m. and directed several witnesses to fill out written statements of what had occurred.

Orange deputies have not yet released incident reports that would contain witness statements.
