For the first time, Walt Disney World has expanded its mobileordering option to a restaurant beyond the theme parks. Visitors can now use the My Disney Experience app to select food at DLuxe Burger at Disney Springs.

The quick-service restaurant is known primarily for its hefty hamburgers: the Southern burger, El Diablo and a “bacon and blue” burger are on the menu, ranging from $10.99 to $12.99. It also specialized on “handcrafted” milkshakes, including the strawberry shortcake gelato shake and the s’mores gelato shake. They sell for $7.50.

Customers can select items and let the kitchen know when they’ve arrived at the eatery via the app, which also allows for some hold-the-mayo style customization. Folks using the mobile-ordering option have a designated pick-up area that allows them to skip the usual line.

At this time, payment is made through credit cards only. Mobile ordering doesn’t accept dining plans, gift cards or discounts yet, the Disney app notes. Visitors on the Disney Dining Plan or seeking to pay with a Disney gift card should order in person at the restaurant.

Walt Disney World kicked off its mobile-ordering efforts in May with the opening of Satu’li Canteen, the restaurant inside Pandora — the World of Avatar land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Since then, it has spread to three other Animal Kingdom eateries: Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus.

Disney also offers advance ordering for breakfast and lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom up to 30 days before visitors’ reservation date. This service is called “Order Ahead,” and it’s accessible through disneyworld.com only.

Disney-owned D-Luxe Burger opened in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs in May 2016. It has a springs-side location between the Disney Springs Welcome Center and Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza.
