Local government­s are offering sandbags for residents to secure their homes as Hurricane Irma approaches. Here are the details:

Orange County: The county was not offering sandbags Tuesday but will continue to assess the storm.

Orlando: The city is offering sandbags 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at 1010 Woods Ave.

Apopka: The city will hand out sandbags 8 a.m.-6 p.m. today at Edwards Field, 11 Forest Ave. Drivers should enter from the east, along North Highland Avenue, and exit south onto East First Street. Up to 10 bags.

Winter Garden: Sandbags are being offered 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. now through Friday at 880 W. Bay St. Up to 10 bags per household.

Seminole County: The county is offering sandbags at three locations7 a.m.- 7 p.m. Up to 15 bags. Starting today, sandbags will be available at 3450 East Lake Mary Blvd, Sanford. On Thursday, they will be offered at 2808 St. Johns Parkway, Sanford, and 401 W. Highland St., Altamonte Springs.

Casselberr­y: The city will offer sandbags 8 a.m.-5 p.m. starting Thursday at 115 Wilshire Blvd., Fern Park. Up to 10 bags per household.

Longwood: Sandbags will be offered 7 a.m.-7 p.m. starting today at 907 East State Road 434. Up to 10 bags per household.

Oviedo: The city will offer sandbags starting 7 a.m.-7 p.m. today at Round Lake Park, 891 E. Broadway St. Up to 12 bags per household.

Sanford: Sandbags will be offered 7 a.m. starting today at 800 W. Fulton St. Officials say the bags will be available 24 hours a day.

Lake County: Not yet offering sandbags, but that might change today.

Eustis: Sandbags are being offered at 100 W. Norton Ave. Up to 10 bags per household.

Groveland: The city is offering sandbags at 450 W. Orange St. Up to 10 bags per household.

Daytona Beach: The city is offering sandbags at 950 Bellevue Ave. Up to 10 bags per vehicle.

Deltona: Sandbags are available 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. today at 201 Howland Blvd. Up to 10 bags per resident.

Orange City: Sandbags are available 11 a.m.-7 p.m. today at 1201 S. Leavitt Ave. Bring a shovel. Up to 10 bags per household. ID required.

Brevard County: Sandbags are being offered 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in four locations starting today: Chain of Lakes Park, 2300 Truman Scarboroug­h Way, Titusville; Mitchell Ellington Park, 575 Hall Road, Merritt Island; Calvary Chapel Church, 2852 Fellowship Place, Viera; and Max K. Rhodes Park, 3410 Flanagan Ave., West Melbourne.
