Vikings without Bradford again
Vikings quarterback
has been ruled out again this week because of lingering soreness in his left knee, meaning
will make third straight start.
Bradford hasn’t practiced with the team for a week. After his latest absence from the field Thursday, coach said again that surgery is not needed for Bradford, only rest. Zimmer said he doesn’t think Bradford’s injury will be a long-term concern.
Bradford was declared out shortly before kickoff Sept. 17 at Pittsburgh, then two days before the most recent game against the Buccaneers when he traveled to seek a second medical opinion on the knee. his
Garrett back at practice:
the top overall pick in this year’s draft, practiced for the first time in three weeks and could make his NFL debut for the Browns on Sunday against the Bengals.
“We almost started to throw a little party to see him back out there,” defensive back
said. “We should have had him introduce himself to the defense again.”
Garrett missed the Browns’ first three games with a high right ankle sprain. He was hurt Sept. 6 during practice when a teammate inadvertently fell on the ankle.
Spence’s kneeling costly: Defensive tackle

Spence told the Detroit Free Press on Wednesday that his taking a knee was “no disrespect to the American flag.”
“It’s no offense to nobody, no disrespect,” he said. “Just like I always tell people, love one another and we’ll be all right.”

Marshall is among many players who believe teams are blackballing Kaepernick for being the first player to kneel for the anthem.
