♦Booktoberf­est: Hosted by the Friends of the Orange County Library System, the event will include beer tastings, German food, live musical entertainm­ent and a silent auction. ♦Barbecue, Beer and Bluegrass: An annual celebratio­n of the history of South Orange County and a fundraiser for the Pine Castle Historical Society. The self-guided tour will take place at nine private gardens throughout Seminole County, where Master Gardeners will be available to offer informatio­n during this event.
