Rodgers suffers injury in Pack’s loss

Harrison Smith and the Vikings defense dismantled the Packers and knocked quarterbac­k Aaron Rodgers out of the game Sunday with a broken collarbone during a 23-10 victory that drasticall­y altered the course of the NFC North.

Smith had 1 1⁄2 sacks and an intercepti­on, helping the host Vikings (4-2) limit the Packers to a season-low 227 yards.

Anthony Barr delivered the game-changing hit on the Packers’ second drive when he took Rodgers hard to the turf as the two-time MVP followed through on a pass.

Rodgers fell on his throwing shoulder, and the Packers (4-2) announced he could miss the remainder of the season.

Brett Hundley threw his first career TD pass in relief but was picked off three times and sacked four times. Patriots 24, Jets 17: Tom Brady threw a pair of TD passes to Rob Gronkowski to rally the Patriots from a 14-0 deficit. The defense had four sacks, two INTs and a fumble recovery in helping Brady become the NFL’s all-time leader in wins.

Bears 27, Ravens 24: Connor Barth hit a 40-yard FG with 2:08 left in OT to lift the Bears, who had squandered a 14-point lead. Jordan Howard ran for 167 yards in the road win.

Steelers 19, Chiefs 13: Le’Veon Bell ran for 179 yards and a TD and Antonio Brown had eight receptions for 155 yards with a score to hand the Chiefs their first loss.

Dolphins 20, Falcons 17: Jay Cutler threw two TDs and Cody Parkey made two FGs to rally the Dolphins from a 17-0 halftime deficit. Jay Ajayi ran for 130 yards in the victory.

Texans 33, Browns 17: Deshaun Watson threw for 225 yards and three TDs and Johnathan Joseph returned one of his two INTs 82 yards for a score to hand the Browns their 16th straight road loss.

Saints 52, Lions: 38: RBs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara combined for 237 total yards and the Saints defense forced five turnovers and scored a franchise-record three TDs. The Lions trailed 45-10 before scoring four unanswered TDs to pull within a score.

Redskins 26, 49ers 24: Kirk Cousins threw two TDs and ran for a score and overcame an INT to lead the Redskins, who blew a 17-point lead before holding on for the win.

Chargers 17, Raiders 16: Nick Novak kicked a 32-yard FG on the final play and RB Melvin Gordon had one rushing and one receiving TD in the road victory. Raiders K Giorgio Tavecchio missed an extra point after a high snap in the fourth quarter.

Rams 27, Jaguars 17: Pharoh Cooper returned the opening kickoff 103 yards for a TD and Malcolm Brown returned a blocked punt 8 yards for a score to lift the Rams. Cardinals 38, Buccaneers 33:

Adrian Peterson ran for 134 yards and two TDs in his Cardinals debut. Carson Palmer completed his first 14 passes and finished 18 of 22 for 283 yards with three TDs with one INT, and Larry Fitzgerald caught 10 passes for 138 yards and a score.

Giants 23, Broncos 10: Janoris Jenkins returned an INT 43 yards for a TD and Aldrick Rosas hit 3 FGs to give the Giants their first win.
