NEW YORK — President Donald Trump returned to Twitter on Friday morning with a vengeance — more than making up for the 11 minutes he was unable to access the social media site.

Trump tore into Democrats, called on the FBI to investigate Hillary Clinton and brought back a slew of campaign-era nicknames for his opponents across the aisle in a series of early morning posts.

It was a return to form for the president after a rogue Twitter employee tried to silence him.

Trump’s account was briefly removed from the site Thursday evening. The company said an outgoing employee took the account down on their last day.

“My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact,” Trump wrote.

The president then used his reactivated page to send out a series of five tweets touting accusations from former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile that the Clinton campaign rigged the party’s primary.

“Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn’t looking into all of the dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems,” Trump tweeted. “New Donna B book says she paid for and stole the Dem Primary. What about the deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus, plus.”

Brazile revealed details of a deal between the DNC and Clinton that put her campaign in charge of the party’s finances.

Trump called on the FBI and Department of Justice to do “what is right and proper” even though the pact was not illegal and Clinton’s primary opponent, Bernie Sanders, signed off on it.

Trump also revived a few monikers he made up during the 2016 campaign, calling Clinton “Crooked Hillary,” Sanders “Crazy Bernie” and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas.”

Switching gears, Trump also blasted the Islamic State and promised it will pay a price after the terror group claimed responsibility for the deadly truck attack Tuesday in lower Manhattan.

The president called accused attacker Sayfullo Saipov, who he has alternately said should be taken to Guantanamo Bay or given the death penalty, a “Degenerate Animal.”

“Military has hit ISIS ‘much harder’ over the last two days. They will pay a big price for every attack on us!” he wrote, using an acronym for the group.

The president’s tweets came just hours before he was scheduled to depart for a 12 day, five country tour through Asia.
