It’s Veterans Day and Orlando honors our military with a free parade at 11 a.m. at Orange Avenue and Robinson Street. Afterward, veterans get free admission to the Stars & Stripes concert featuring Joe Nichols and Tyler Farr at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Tickets, $25-$75, available at ticketfly.com.

♦Pioneer Day:
The Osceola County Historical Society’s 26th annual event will include historic reenactments and demonstrations, tours of the restored 19thcentury pioneer dwellings and family-friendly activities. ♦Great Day in the Country arts and crafts festival:
The GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club’s 44th annual event will feature more than 350 exhibitors competing for awards and ribbons and selling artwork and crafts. There also will be children’s activities, live entertainment, and food booths. All proceeds go toward scholarships and grants to help local schools and charities.
