GLENDALE, Ariz. — With a month left in the regular season, the AFC South is up for grabs.

The Jaguars rallied from a 13-point third-quarter deficit and a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit, but Arizona got a 57-yard field goal from Phil Dawson with one second remaining to win 27-24 on Sunday.

The Jaguars and Tennessee both are 7-4, but the Titans hold the division lead because of their Week 2 win in Jacksonville.

In the AFC playoff race, the Jaguars are currently the fifth seed, one game ahead of Buffalo (6-5), which won at Kansas City after going back to quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Baltimore (5-5) hosts Houston tonight.

In a 24-24 game, the Jaguars had a chance to take the lead with under three minutes remaining after strong safety Barry Church’s interception. But Blake Bortles was intercepted four plays later by Tyrann Mathieu with 2:42 remaining.

The Jaguars forced a three-and-out, but the offense punted it right back.

With 16 seconds on the clock, Blaine Gabbert threw 10 yards to Kerwynn Williams and then 12 yards to D.J. Foster to set up Dawson’s game-winning field goal.

The Jaguars’ four-game win streak ended.

Leading 13-3 at halftime, the Cardinals made it a 13-point lead on Dawson’s 48-yard field goal on their first second-half drive. The drive was sparked by a 16-yard catch by Larry Fitzgerald on third-and-6 and, on the next play, a 15-yard horse-collar tackle penalty on Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack.

The Jaguars cut the lead to 16-10 with a 75-yard drive that was all about Bortles. He threw 24 yards to Keelan Cole, absorbed a roughing-the-passer penalty (15 yards) and then ran 28 yards on a keeper to the Cardinals’ 10. On thirdand-goal from the 9, Bortles scrambled 8 yards. Coach Doug Marrone opted to go for it and it paid off. Bortles rolled right looking for tight end Marcedes Lewis. But Lewis was covered and Bortles ran for only the second touchdown of his career.

Needing a turnover and a sack from the league’s top-ranked defense, that defense delivered. Yannick Ngakoue sacked/stripped Blaine Gabbert and Calais Campbell scooped up the fumble for a 10-yard touchdown.

In his return to Arizona, Campbell scored his second career touchdown, which gave the Jaguars their first lead (17-16) with 12:10 remaining.

But then Arizona answered with a 52-yard touchdown catch by Jaron Brown with 9:07 remaining. Gabbert’s two-point pass to Larry Fitzgerald made it 24-17 Cardinals. The Jaguars quickly tied it at 24 with 7:26 remaining on Bortles’ 17-yard keeper touchdown. The drive was set up by Corey Grant’s 68-yard kick return to the Cardinals’ 38.
