Curley caps career with two state wins
Swimmer of the Year
Hayden Curley, Sr. Lake Highland Prep
■ Buzz: Curley, a Louisville recruit, won the 200-yard freestyle in an automatic All-America time of 1 minute, 37.81 seconds and added a victory in the 500 free final with a time of 4:21.92. He also swam Lake Highland’s fastest split (21.93) as the Highlanders placed sixth in the 200 free relay.
■ Did you know: Curley, the son of longtime Lake Highland swim coach Mike Curley, swam his career-best times in both the 200 and 500 free at the FHSAA state meet. He is CollegeSwimming.com’s No. 5 rated senior prospect for Florida.
