Florida Hospital senior executive set to retire

senior executive officer of the Florida Hospital’s South/West market in metro Orlando, and former mayor of Winter Park, is retiring Feb. 1, the health system announced in December.

the current senior executive officer of Florida Hospital’s North/East market, will oversee the South/West market, and a new leader for the North/East market will be announced soon.

Bradley oversees Florida Hospital Kissimmee, Florida Hospital Celebratio­n Health, Florida Hospital Winter Garden and Florida Hospital Apopka. He also serves on the University of Central Florida’s Board of Trustees, and chaired 2017’s Greater Orlando American Heart Associatio­n’s Heart Walk.

“The Bradley family is a Florida Hospital institutio­n,” said Daryl Tol, president and CEO of Florida Hospital and Adventist Health System’s Central Florida Division, in an news release. “Our organizati­on would not be where it is today were it not for multiple generation­s of their family who tirelessly devoted their careers to extending the healing ministry of Christ in Central Florida.”

Also, who has been serving as the interim senior executive Officer of Florida Hospital’s Integrated Health Services network, will assume the rule permanentl­y effective Jan. 1, according to Florida Hospital. He oversees outpatient services such as Florida Hospital Medical Group, Centra Care, and FRi-Diagnostic Imaging.

“I am confident these changes will position our organizati­on for the future as we strive to make health care more affordable, connected and exceptiona­l for Central Florida,” Tol said in a news release.

has renovated its hematology/oncology unit with 12 large patient rooms, a family lounge and upgraded equipment.

The 15-year-old unit was redesigned partly with families’ feedback, and partly funded by Mark and Josie NeJame’s Runway to Hope. THe unit’s playroom is dedicated to the organizati­on.

The

consortium has received initial accreditat­ion for a Transition­al Year Residency Program at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala. The program, which is required by specialtie­s such as ophthalmol­ogy, dermatolog­y and anesthesio­logy, is approved for 13 residents and is directed by Dr. Alan Hamza.

This is the consortium’s fifth residency program at Ocala Regional. The UCFHCA consortium has 17 graduate medication education programs, training close to 250 physicians in Central and North Central Florida.

Winter Park Health Foundation and Florida Hospital celebrated the 80,000square-foot

topping out milestone in December. The center, located near Winter Park Memorial Hospital, will provide wellness, fitness and medical services.
