Timber Creek HS teacher faces drug, alcohol charges

Timber Creek High School teacher Justin Martineau was arrested Feb. 2 after police saw him carrying an open container while walking on Church Street, an Orlando Police report states.

When police searched his pockets, they found a metal cigarette holder with a marijuana blunt inside, a vape pen they suspected was filled with hash oil and a plastic baggie with methamphet­amine.

The arrest happened at 11:20 p.m., and after cops found the meth Martineau speak to a lawyer.

He’s charged with possession of hash oil, possession of methamphet­amine, possession of cannabis and violating the city’s open container ordinance, the report states. He’s since bonded out of jail. The school confirmed the arrest of one of its teachers in a Facebook post on Saturday but didn’t identify him.

Martineau, a social studies teacher, will be relieved of duty and not allowed on campus during the investigat­ion, Timber Creek Principal Kelly Paduano posted. requested to
