Palmer Hospital president retires

president of Arnold Palmer Medical Center, retired Jan. 26 after 40 years of service. Orlando Health is seeking two hospital presidents, one for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and another for Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.

“We have secured a national recruiting firm and are in the process of interviewi­ng candidates,” said a hospital spokeswoma­n. “We expect to have our new leadership in place this summer.”

In the meantime, Dr. Jamal Hakim, chief operating officer of Orlando Health, will serve as interim president of the two hospitals. medical bills and payments and patient feedback.
