Forecasts for more than a week of rain in Central Florida have cast a cloud over state playoff schedules for softball and baseball and could also impact spring football games.

As of the close of the school day on Monday, the had been informed of two baseball region semifinal games that were reschedule­d from today to Wednesday: Dr. Phillips at Boone and Hagerty at St. Cloud.

The Florida High School Athletic Associatio­n on Monday postponed the start of its state softball championsh­ips in Vero Beach from Wednesday to Saturday.
