Select Disney passholder­s get Toy Story Land access

Good news for some Disney passholder­s: You can get free exclusive access to Toy Story Land on select dates in September.

The timing makes sense because September is typically one of the slower months at the theme parks.

It is not for all passholder­s, it is worth noting. Just for those with Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier passes.

Disney held a special preview for passholder­s at Pandora — World of Avatar before it opened to the general public.

Toy Story Land, featuring a Slinky Dog roller coaster and a spinning ride, is scheduled to debut June 30.

Passholder­s will need to register online for the special event at Hollywood Studios. Disney sent out an email with instructio­ns on how to sign up.

“Event capacity is limited,” Disney’s website said.

Walt Disney World also has lifted some of the block-out dates for its seasonal passholder­s.

Holders of the Disney Silver Pass and the Disney Weekday Select Pass were recently notified that they would be allowed admission to all four of the Disney World theme parks through June 29. A block-out period began June 4 and was scheduled to be in effect through Aug. 9. But that lasted only four days.

Weekday Select Pass holders will still be blocked out on Saturdays and Sundays this month, as usual.

The block-out is scheduled to kick back in on June 30, the day Toy Story Land opens to the public at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
