‘America’s Got Talent’ has local hopeful

Orlando has contender on another

this week. The dance duo Quin and Misha will compete at 8 p.m. today on NBC. Quin is from Orlando, and Misha is from Jacksonvil­le. How much screen time will they get? Here’s hoping a lot, so we can hear what Simon Cowell and company have to say. Last week, two Orlando hopefuls made it to the next round: fire breather Nathan Spare and hula hoop performer Jenny Klimantova.

Paramount Network has a big gun in Kevin Costner, who stars as an affluent Montana rancher in The modern-day Western/ family drama premieres at 9 p.m. Wednesday with two hours. Cast as the rancher’s children are Dave Annable, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly. Reason to hope: Taylor Sheridan (“Wind River”) and John Linson (“Sons of Anarchy”) are the creators. USA on Thursday offers the season premieres of at9 with p.m. and Ryan Phillippe at 10.

ABC had success by mixing crime and romance on “Castle.” The network gives that approach another shot with debuting at 10 p.m. Thursday. The series pairs a private eye (Eddie Cibrian) and a TV star (Rachel Bilson) seeking a comeback.
