Zack Greinke’s previous all-star turns ahead of his fifth All-Star Game appearance tonight.

In a third of Zack Greinke’s 15 major-league seasons, the former Apopka High School pitcher has been chosen an allstar.

It’s an impressive run, one that is expected to continue tonight. Greinke is part of the National League’s all-star team in Washington after replacing Chicago Cubs left-hander Jon Lester.

In his previous four all-star outings, Greinke has produced a 1.80 ERA in five innings and surrendere­d a memorable home run.

We look back at how Greinke, 34, has fared in his previous all-star turns.

2009

■ When: July 14

■ Site: Busch Stadium, St. Louis

■ Final score: AL 4-3

■ How Greinke fared: Pitching the fourth inning, the Kansas City Royal induced Raul Ibanez to foul out to third base and struck out David Wright and Shane Victorino.

■ Three up, three down: Greinke was the only one of the 16 pitchers used in the game to strike out more than one batter. … The game lasted a tidy 2 hours, 31 minutes. … In 2009, Greinke joined Bret Saberhagen (1985, ’89) and David Cone (1994) as the only Royals to win the Cy Young.

2014

■ When: July 15

■ Site: Target Field, Minneapoli­s

■ Final score: AL 5-3

■ How Greinke fared: Representi­ng the Los Angeles Dodgers, he pitched a perfect fourth inning as Jose Bautista grounded out and Nelson Cruz and Adam Jones struck out.

■ Three up, three down: Derek Jeter batted leadoff in his 14th and final allstar appearance. He went 2-for-2 and scored a run. … Greinke did not start for the NL, but another Central Floridian did. While with the Milwaukee Brewers, Jonathan Lucroy doubled off Lester and Chris Sale. Lucroy went to Umatilla High School in Lake County. … Greinke won the first of his four consecutiv­e Gold Glove awards in 2014.

2015

■ When: July 14

■ Site: Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati

■ Final score: AL 6-3

■ How Greinke fared: He represente­d the Dodgers again and allowed a home run to Mike Trout to lead off the top of the first inning. It was the only run that Greinke surrendere­d in two innings, and he finished with four strikeouts and one walk.

■ Three up, three down: Greinke ended the season’s first half with a 35.2-inning scoreless streak. The streak ended at 45.2 innings. … Trout’s homer was the first to lead off the top of the first in an All-Star Game since Joe Morgan connected off Jim Palmer at the old Yankee Stadium in 1977. … Only six pitchers in all-star history have struck out more than four batters in one game. The record is six, set by four pitchers — most recently by Ferguson Jenkins in 1967.

2017

■ When: July 11

■ Where: Marlins Park, Miami

■ Final score: AL 2-1 (10 innings)

■ How Greinke fared :As an Arizona Diamondbac­k, Greinke pitched the sixth inning for the NL. He got George Springer to fly out and struck out Francisco Lindor. After Yonder Alonso singled, Cruz ended the inning by flying out.

■ Three up, three down: This was the first All-Star Game to go extra innings since 2008, when the AL prevailed 4-3 in 15 innings at Yankee Stadium . ... Seattle Mariners 2B Robinson Cano, whose home run produced the decisive run, was chosen MVP. Cano currently is serving an 80-game suspension for using performanc­eenhancing drugs. … Greinke finished the season 17-7 with a 3.20 ERA and 215 strikeouts in 202.1 innings. He placed fourth in Cy Young voting.
