Fill the calendar with foodie fests

It’s time to start filling in the calendar with some fun foodie events. Here’s what to consider: COMMENTARY Wine and Cheese Festival will boast live music, a free tasting with cheese paired with Lakeridge wines; and more. It will be held 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 8 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 9 at 19239 U.S. 27 N. in Clermont. Admission is $5 for adults and can be purchased on EventBrite.com.

More than 20 local chefs and restaurants will serve their take on Orlando’s best burger from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 22 at Seminole Harley-Davidson, 620 Hickman Circle, Sanford. Folks will be able to vote for their favorite burger. Tickets start at $45, and can be purchased on OrlandoMagazine.com/ Burger-Battle.
