Forever Florida explains why it shut down

Adventure park plans limited reopening Friday after abrupt closure last month

Forever Florida, an Osceola County adventure park that closed abruptly last month to the irritation of some customers, revealed Monday that it will have a limited this week.

The nature park will allow guests to use the Zip Line and Adventure Park activities beginning Friday, according to an email from the park’s owners.

People can reopening call 407-957-9794 starting Tuesday to begin scheduling.

The park offered a little more insight into what had caused the sudden closure, saying it was negotiatin­g new ownership and planned to reopen under different management.

The land was not being sold or developed nor had there been any problems with the adventures, Forever Florida said.

Nobody from the park was immediatel­y available for comment Monday.

“We are committed to honoring all ticket, group sales and gift cards,” the email also said. “We anticipate a grand re-opening under new management complete with new state of the art adventures! Camping and Cabin open.”

Forever Florida had told guests earlier that “circumstan­ces beyond our control” forced the abrupt closure that angered some who had booked visits to the park and then found out last minute they were canceled.

One customer complained that her refund had Rental remain not been forthcomin­g.

Forever Florida is an adventure park that features a zip-line roller coaster, a treetop pedaling course, a horseback safari and other attraction­s.
