Ramsey’s immaturity bringing down Jags
Former FSU star
the immature and insufferable face of the Jacksonville Jaguars, was at it again during his Q&A session with reporters earlier this week when he gave a flurry of disinterested one- and twoword answers to a variety of questions. It was an encore performance of his bratty post-game locker room interview after the sinking Jaguars were pummeled 40-7 by the mediocre Dallas Cowboys last week.
Ramsey, who has no trouble being bold and brash when things are going well, suddenly turns rude and brusque when the going gets tough. If you ask me, Ramsey’s childish attitude is partly why the Jaguars have lost three of four games and their once-proud defense has been shredded the last two weeks.
Ramsey is a great player but a terrible leader. You want your leader to stand up and set the tone for the rest of the team during trying times, not shrink in the moment and run into a rabbit hole. You want the face of your franchise to be engaging, embraceable and professional, not surly, brooding and infantile.
The bottom line is this: Jalen Ramsey needs to grow up or his Jaguars will continue to fall down.
