Residence on Walt Disney World resort property sells for $6.89M.
An heiress to the Bacardi estate has purchased a 9,027-square-foot mansion set on four-tenths of an acre in the gated Four Seasons Private Residences subdivision at Golden Oak on the Walt Disney World resort property for a recorded $6,899,000.
Custom builder Stonebridge Homes was the seller, having purchased the lot in June 2015 for $1.274 million. The home, called Bonavento on the builder’s website, was listed for $6,989,000.
Buyer Hilda Maria Bacardi, the great-great granddaughter of the Cuban-originated rum producer, is listed alongside Marlene J. Carbonell as trustees of the Hilda Maria Bacardi Living Trust in purchasing the new home, which was designed in an “Italianate” theme and backs up to a natural area.
The interior features a two-story great room lined with balconies, according to the website listing, along with a theater, a club room and an elevator. An interior-courtyard pool, spa, outdoor kitchen and double-sided fireplace provide outdoor living spaces.
