O-lineman Jackson back with Knights after tearing ACL
UCF senior left tackle Wyatt Miller made his way back to the Knights’ bench following yet another successful drive against Navy Saturday that reached the end zone.
Scoring is nothing out of the ordinary for the Knights, but as he sat down, Miller saw something he didn’t expect: sophomore guard Samuel Jackson was next to him, sweating.
“Did you just go in?” Miller asked.
“Yeah,” said Jackson.
UCF is working to be an ideal host for ESPN’s College GameDay.
The popular college football pregame show will be broacast from 9 a.m. to noon at the southeast corner of Memory Mall ahead of the No. 11 Knights’ showdown with No. 24 Cincinnati at 8 p.m. Saturday at Spectrum Stadium.
Here are some key things to know about attending the GameDay taping and one of the biggest home football games in school history: campus
However, those who hold parking passes for Gold Zone lots of Garage C and D and Lots C2, C3, D1 and D2 can access the lot starting at midnight Saturday.
Those who hold parking passes for the Gold Zone E Lots, Garage F, softball lot and baseball lot can access the locations beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday.
Memory Mall will also be open starting at 6 a.m. for fans who have secured tailgate reservations.
Fans with Gold Zone parking can park in Garage D to be closer to College GameDay beginning midnight Saturday. Vehicles must be moved to assigned Gold Zone parking lots by 12:30 p.m.
Cars without permits will be allowed to park in areas near Memory Mall until 12:30 p.m. Any car without a visible parking pass hanging from its rearview mirror is subject to towing after 12:30 p.m. Saturday following the conclusion of the ESPN College GameDay broadcast. until 2 p.m. Saturday.
