“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda sends a taped message to a couple featured in “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Holiday Magic.”

Their wedding has a “Mary Poppins Returns” theme. Miranda, a star of the Disney movie opening Dec. 19, tells them: “We want to celebrate your impossibleto-possible love story.”

Bride Courtney is from North Carolina, bridegroom Sam is from the United Kingdom, and they met on a Disney Cruise as teenagers.

“They kept in touch for several years. They started to date,” said executive producer Ann Lewis Roberts. “It seemed impossible he’d move here. Finally he said, ‘I want to be married.’ Now he’s here.” (They’re living in Greensboro, N.C.)

In the special at 8 p.m. Saturday on Freeform, Cherry Tree Lane from the movie becomes a theme for the couple at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Lamplighters — Miranda plays one in the movie — in period costumes escort the couple to their reception at the U.K. pavilion at Epcot. A movie song, “Trip a Little Light Fantastic,” is featured at the reception.

“He told us his mom was nanny,” Roberts said. “The family is big Disney fans. They love all the Disney movies.”

The special also showcases the nuptials of Christina and Daniel from Amelia Island. They are detectives who say they had an immediate attraction when they met through work. They receive a Port Orleans Riverside-themed wedding. Then country singer Martina McBride surprises them by performing on Epcot Fountain Stage at the reception.

“Fairy Tale Weddings” was first a special last year hosted by “Bachelor” alumni Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, who later broke their engagement. Then “Weddings” was a special and a series hosted by spouses by Stephen “tWitch” Boss (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”) and Allison Holker (“Dancing With the Stars”). They are back for the latest special.

“They are the most fun and loving couple, and they’re so passionate about the show, people’s love stories, being at the park and what the park can do,” Roberts said. “They love a good love story.”

Producers hope there will be another series, Roberts said. “There’s a lot of talk about other couples and venues. We have our fingers crossed,” she added.

The special shot at the end of October, when Disney was gearing up for the changeover for Christmas.
