Focus Features Favorites Week comes to Enzian
‘Shaun of the Dead’ among films to be shown
Enzian dedicates a special week of screenings to Focus Features from today through Thursday.
“Founded in 2002, and the distributor responsible for bringing some of the finest works of cinema to art houses and commercial theaters worldwide over the last two decades, Focus Features is a company with extraordinarily good taste,” said Matthew Curtis, Enzian’s programming director, in a press release.
Focus Features Favorites Week at the Maitland theater includes the following screenings:

Enzian has also rescheduled programming postponed by the coronavirus pandemic. National Theatre Live returns with “Present Laughter” at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Peanut Butter Matinee Family Film (which is free for ages 12 and younger) is “The Last Unicorn” at noon Sunday. Catch “The Harder They Come” at 9:30 p.m.
Monday for Music Mondays — plus get there early at 6:30 p.m. to hear Logan and Vonny at Eden Bar.
In addition to all of these screenings, “The Truth” has showings at 3 p.m. today, 6:15 p.m. today though Sunday and 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Enzian is taking extra precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic, including enhanced sanitizing measures.
Seating is limited with the current 50% capacity regulation, so advanced ticket purchases are recommended. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating and drinking. The theater is also taking patrons’ temperatures upon arrival.
