Next up for Enzian Theater’s special movie weeks: Stanley Kubrick Week, featuring some of the filmmaker’s most notable works.

“With this year’s delayed Florida Film Festival right around the corner, Enzian felt it was only fitting to program a very special week of masterworks from one of the most acclaimed, influential, and controversial filmmakers in cinema history – Stanley Kubrick (1928-99),” said Matthew Curtis, Enzian’s programming director, in a news release. “Known for his relentless perfectionism, technical brilliance, creative vision, and intensely private nature to the point of producing many of his films under a cloud of secrecy, the former photographer and perennial outsider worked far beyond the confines of Hollywood while maintaining complete artistic control.”

Stanley Kubrick Week includes the following films:

■ “Eyes Wide Shut” — 3 p.m. July 31 and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 3

■ “2001: A Space Odyssey” — 7 p.m. July 31 and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4

■ “Lolita” — 3 p.m. Aug. 1

■ “A Clockwork Orange” — 7 p.m. Aug. 1 and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 5

■ “Barry Lyndon” — 2 p.m. Aug. 2

■ “Full Metal Jacket” — 6:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and 6

The theater is taking extra precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic, including enhanced sanitizing measures.

Seating is limited with the current 50 percent capacity regulation, so advanced ticket purchases are recommended. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating and drinking. The theater is also taking patrons’ temperatures upon arrival.

Enzian is located at 1300 S. Orlando Ave. in Maitland. Tickets cost $12 ($10 for matinees). For more information, call 407-629-1088 or go to enzian.org.
