According to a press release, the programming features political news coverage from a local perspective — including reports from Spectrum’s political anchors and reporters, special prime-time programming with coverage on the state of the race and the latest developments from the conventions, along with exclusive previews and recaps from Spectrum News’ political team and live reporting.

“We believe local journalism is essential to building strong communities and a healthy democracy,” said Mike Bair, executive vice president of Spectrum Networks, in a news release.

“With our journalists embedded in communities in key battleground states across the country, Spectrum Networks’ robust coverage of the conventions will provide customers access to the objective local news they need to make well-informed decisions come Election Day.”

Here’s the content viewers can expect.

clean up their yards and maintain them tick me off!

off at a grocery chain! Please train your baggers properly! I get home only to find my frosted cake sitting on its side and an apple pie with a bag of potatoes on it, not to mention my bread on the bottom with a bag of grapes crushing it! Your food prices rise every week, and I’m not paying you to slam my food around. And when I tell you I want it packed light, double bag paper, I mean it. I do not appreciate having the bag tear and the contents up to the rim just because you do not listen! This has happened on several occasions. The next time (if I do decide to shop there again) I’m calling in to report you!

you people with masks on think it is okay to not still social distance while in public. Stay away from me when I am shopping! You can wait 10 seconds while I move out of your way! I stay away from you!

man who could not wait until I got into my car holding two long stemmed orchid plants ... couldn’t you see I had my hands full? You saw me there struggling when you pulled up beside me. Did you have to step out of your car right that minute? There were other parking places around you where you could have parked also. Why can’t you just be kind, patient and courteous instead of shaking your hands at me to hurry up?!! And you could have simply walked behind and around your car. You had room that way!
