■ Blue Jays, Dodgers: The Blue Jays acquired RHP Ross Stripling from the Dodgers in a trade for two players to be named. Stripling is 3-1 with a 5.61 ERA in seven starts this season. He has 27 strikeouts. The 30year-old veteran has spent his entire pro career with the Dodgers, cracking the major league roster in 2016 and earning an All-Star selection in 2018.

■ Cubs: The Cubs acquired veteran OF Cameron Maybin and two lefthanded relievers in three trades, adding some help for their pursuit of their first division title since 2017. The NL Central leaders sent minor league INF Zack Short to the Tigers for Maybin, who’s batting .244 with a HR and two RBIs in 14 games. The Cubs got Chafin and a cash consideration from the Diamondbacks for a player to be named or cash. Osich was acquired in a deal with the Red Sox for a player to be named or cash. The addition of Maybin gives the Cubs a glut of outfielders on the roster. They also acquired INF/OF Jose Martínez in a trade with the Rays on Sunday, but he likely will get most of his playing time at DH.

■ Mariners: Marco Gonzales retired 21 consecutive Angels while throwing a four-hitter, and Jose Marmolejos hit a tiebreaking HR in the sixth as the Mariners beat the host Angels 2-1. Gonzales (4-2) had eight strikeouts and didn’t walk a batter until the ninth. It was his second career complete game. After Justin Upton’s leadoff homer in the second, Gonzales retired every batter he faced until pinch-hitter Shohei Ohtani’s leadoff single in the ninth.

■ Rays: Tyler Glasnow flummoxed the Yankees for six innings, Ji-Man Choi and Kevin Kiermaier homered off Gerrit Cole, and the Rays extended their mastery of Yankees with a 5-3 road victory. The AL East leaders won their sixth straight game, improved to 7-1 against the rival Yankees this season and stretched their division cushion to 41⁄ games. Glasnow (2-1)

2 had a no-hitter through five and completed six innings of scoreless, two-hit ball. He struck out nine and walked one.

■ Extra innings: Miguel Rojas hit a tiebreaking RBI single during a four-run sixth against two-time reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom, and the Marlins beat the host Mets 5-3. Garrett Cooper and Brian Anderson homered for the Marlins, who had dropped four in a row. Trevor Rogers pitched five effective innings for his first career win. The Mets lost their fourth straight game. ... Jose Iglesias and Bryan Holaday had RBI doubles in the 11th inning, and Iglesias threw out the potential tying run at home as the visiting Orioles salvaged a 4-3 win against the Blue Jays to break a fivegame losing streak. The Jays had won four in a row. ... The Rockies added acquired OF Kevin Pillar from the Red Sox. Pillar, 31, is hitting .274 with four HR and 13 RBIs. ... The AL West-leading A’s acquired LHP Mike Minor from the Rangers. Minor, 32, is 0-5 with a 5.60 ERA this season but threw six shutout innings against the Dodgers on Friday.
