Ticked off! @school buses

-

I’m ticked off that our school budget spends money needlessly on transporting middle school and high school age kids that could easily walk to school and get exercise and lose weight at the same time. These kids should be able to walk at least two or three miles each way and it would save the school districts money in transporting them needlessly.

I’m more than ticked off! I am tired about the same story of the Orlando Magic every year. At the start of the season is always the same hoopla that this a great young team with great potential. Yet always the most they can do is finish in the eighth and last position and be eliminated easily in the first round of the playoffs. This story is getting tiring. The city of Orlando and its fans deserve better.

I’m ticked off that a high percentage of drivers seem to be convinced that the officers who patrol the roads have been quarantined. They exceed speed limits by 10, 15 or 20 MPH, and that’s on city streets. I-4 and State Road 417 have become the Autobahn. Crossing several lanes at will with no notice. Running red lights and causing horrendous crashes. Buckle up and be safe.

It ticks me

off that we make an appointment with our wonderful cable company for first thing Saturday morning, the man showed up on time never got out of his truck, sat there for 15 minutes and drives off. They say he knocked on door. That’s a lie. We were there waiting for him to come to the door and he never got out of his truck. Crappy cable service!

The flip side

I am thankful for my small circle of friends who can discuss politics calmly and thoughtfully without getting defensive, slinging slogans, or foaming at the mouth with party loyalty.
