Ticked off! @water wasters

-

To the people complaining about their HOAs: Feel blessed if your HOA is controlled and managed by the residents. Our community is within a resort and our HOA is controlled and managed by the owners of the resort. We, the residents, do not have any representation in the board and consequently no vote. Everything is handled and decided by the owners of the resort. You can imagine what that means! It is as if you are a guest in the resort although you own your house.

I’m ticked off. I donate to charities because I feel they need it when I want to. Then they waste money snail mailing me pleas for more money. Save your postage and stay out of my email inbox, I will donate when and where I feel it is needed.

I’m ticked off that my odds of getting a perfect watermelon at a grocery store are about the same as my odds of winning at roulette in a casino.

I’m ticked off at the people who run their sprinklers during the rainy season. It rains a couple of hours every day. You’ll even see sprinklers on during a rainstorm! Do you idiots not know how an off switch works? Turn them off! Water is one of our most precious commodities.

The flip side

I want to thank the unpaid volunteers at my church for making me fell so safe when I attend Sunday mass. They meet you before you enter, ask about your health, and make sure you have a mask. They even give you one if you forgot yours! They walk you down to your seat and make sure you are socially distant. The pews are all set up for distancing, and cleaned after each event. Everything is explained in detail. Thanks, volunteers, for making me feel safe.

Need to vent?
