Ticked off! @airport

-

I’m ticked off the airport is cranking back up! The quiet was so nice while it lasted!

I’m ticked off at dog walkers who are not responsible, and don’t pick up their dogs’ poop ... especially when it’s on sidewalks!

I’m ticked off that the woman behind me in line did not rein in her grandson at Walmart. The child randomly screamed and cackled even though told to stop it. He began poking the back of my scooter seat and then me personally until I turned partially around and said, “Stop it,” in no uncertain terms. Shoppers should not have to endure harassment from a 5-yearold. She should keep him in her cart or leave him at home. He obviously is not being raised correctly if he can’t behave out in public and has the temerity to physically accost another adult. I was stunned!

To the police officer directing traffic at Republic Avenue at the Amazon Warehouse where COVID-19 shots were given. Please be more understanding to we seniors who are stressed out enough waiting for shots in long lines.

To the person who complained about the exorbitant rise in homeowners insurance. An agent may weigh in, but start with your own company and ask politely but firmly how they justify their increase. But more important, shop around. There are plenty of companies out there looking to compete. Don’t just settle for the same company because it is an effort to change. With those increases, you owe them no loyalty. And most important of all, change to coverage with a higher deductible. The main reason for homeowner’s insurance is to cover catastrophic events.
