Ticked off! @cell lot lighting

-

I’m ticked off at the way the lights are timed and the traffic patterns are for the I-4-Colonial Drive intersection and the exit/ entrance ramp lanes. Not only do turn lanes and straight lanes limit the number of cars that can get through, so they block each other from driving on the green, but often the light stays green for three seconds so only two cars proceed, making the jam even worse. When SunRail crosses Colonial Drive no one, even in lanes not impacted by the train, is given a green light.

The cell lot at Orlando Sanford Airport needs lighting badly. As a woman waiting there in the night time, I do not feel safe.

To the person ticked off at their “dishonest” HOA. Have you ever volunteered for the board? My wife has been President of our neighborhood HOA for 5 years. Why? Because no one else steps up. We barely have enough people at the annual meeting to even have an election. While she’s very good and honest at what she does, she wouldn’t mind giving someone else a turn. So if that is you, be a part of the solution and not part of the the problem.

The flip side

A big thank you to the Heart of Florida in Ocala. I got my vaccine there and they did a fantastic job. They moved people along and did it in a very fun and humorous manner. Now I’m protected! Are you?

When we finished our lunch, we were told that Mike, a local manager at our branch, had paid for our meal. That was a pleasant surprise. I’ve always wondered if it was true, all these meals being paid for that I read about here. I can now attest that it is.
