Ticked off! @bad signage

-

I am greatly ticked off that an Altamonte Springs hospital is staffed with so many incompetent, rude and uncaring people. My stay there recently was nothing but a trauma. Supplies are inadequate, rooms are small, there are no curtains and no hangers for clothing, the phone and TV systems are lousy. The main deficiency is that no one knows what is going on or who might know in the first place. I’ve never experienced such a poorly-run hospital in my life (72 years). Shame on them to the max!

I am ticked because I read about all the new signage going up at railroad crossings, great idea. However, I think the idea is to place warnings for people before they get to the tracks. Driving north on Country Club Road toward Lake Mary Boulevard you will notice the sign for “Do not stop on the tracks” is after you have already crossed the tracks! What genius placed this sign after the fact?

I’m really ticked off at the person who was ticked off that crime writers are using a tire iron as a weapon in their crime novels. Would they rather they use dirty underwear to strangle their victims?

The flip side

Thank you to all the staff and customers who quickly responded to my mother falling while entering Costco. The area of the accident was immediately closed off and she was properly put in a wheelchair and taken indoors. Thank you also to the ambulance and fire truck which showed up promptly. Everyone was helpful, kind and professional. Our family appreciates all you did for our mother. Thank you!
