Have a cultural celebration with Orlando theater, concert and museum deals
A gift doesn’t have to be an object, though there’s nothing
wrong with a new shiny bauble. But remember, tickets can be wrapped as well and provide double joy: The surprise of opening and the fun of attending an event.
Here, in no particular order, is a look at just some of the cultural gifts available from Central Florida organizations.
The Bay Street Players at the State Theatre in Eustis have two deals stretching from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. First, tickets to the theater’s next show, a musical version of “A Christmas Carol,” will be discounted $5. Adapted from Charles Dickens’ tale, “A Christmas Carol, A New Musical” was adapted by Carlos Francisco Asse, the Bay Street Players’ artistic director. It runs Dec. 3-12.
The second deal lets ticket buyers purchase a multipass for $99, a savings of $21. The pass is good for six individual tickets that can be used in any combination for upcoming shows “Ain’t Misbehavin’ ” (Jan. 14-30), “To Kill a Mockingbird” (April 8-24) or “The Rocky Horror Show” (June 24-July 11).
In other words, a couple could go to all three shows. Or a big group of six could use the whole pass at once.
The offers are valid Nov. 26-29; use promo code SCROOGE at eustisstatetheatre.org or call 352-357-7777.
