Ticked off! @parking lot

-

I’m ticked off at the quality of our local news channels! Weather, lawyers, weather, commercials, weather, same three news stories, weather, more lawyers, weather!

I’m ticked off at a big orthopedic clinic! My 87-year-old mother and sister were at your counter making an appointment in person due to Mom’s extreme pain. Mom is called by said clinic the day before her Dec. 15 appointment to cancel because the doctor doesn’t see anyone over 80!

She had been a patient at said clinic before. DOB known and in record. Shame on you for jerking around an elderly person in great pain! Don’t accept the appointment in the first place if this is your lame policy in Florida, for goodness sake, where many elderly people live.

I don’t know how the new business at U.S. Highway 17-92 and Fairbanks Avenue expects to succeed when getting into and out of their parking lot is a nightmare.

I cannot believe that those affected by the horrible tornadoes must now contend with looters! They have lost just about everything, must you steal from them also?

I am ticked off at the lawyer commercial where Santa is trying to get money for Grandma because she was run over by a reindeer. Isn’t Santa the one who ran her over? Shouldn’t he be charged with hit-and-run? I don’t know of anyone else who travels with reindeer.

The flip side

This is a little late but I want to thank the beautiful person who ran back on her way out of Publix the night before Thanksgiving when I was at check out and insisted paying for two of the pumpkin pies that I had picked up to leave on friends who were alone front porch. What a beautiful heart. Thank you so much. She had a beautiful smile along with warm heart!
