Ticked off! @parking cell lot

-

To the Sanford Airport, thank you for providing the parking cell lot. But, does anyone, especially a woman and an 80-year-old woman at that, feel comfortable entering the lot at 11 p.m. to wait for an arriving passenger. There are no lights! Very frightening, especially when another car pulls in.

I’m ticked off that I didn’t get what I wanted for Christmas again!

The IRS online gave me a number to call and an extension number, and a reference number to use for my refund that was mailed to me and then returned to the IRS as the Post Office does not forward mail from the IRS. I’ve called the number given and there’s no one to talk to to give the reference number to. Just keeps giving number options to pick from.

After 10 minutes of this nonsense, the IRS says to call back later and then hangs up. Very frustrating. Maddening.

I’m ticked that UCF is less than helpful with alumni and attempting to obtain records. Plus their website states “Closed on Holidays.” Last I checked, the Dec. 20 isn’t a holiday.

Why, why, why can’t Amazon delivery drivers ring the doorbell when they drop off a package, so it doesn’t sit in the rain until you happen to look out the window?

Recently, Orange County sent out a flier regarding weekly garbage and recycling collection. It has been asked that residents do not stuff the barrel so much that the lid cannot be closed. To Orange County I say this: Either give residents a second barrel for trash/recycling or start coming twice a week. The taxes that you suck out of us pays for your service!

The flip side Many, many thanks

to the person who returned my dropped change purse, intact, at the Rock Springs Publix in Apopka. You made my day, even my Christmas, by your kind action.
