Ticked off! @rent increase

To the person up set at Star Wars decorations. During the Christmas season we renew our hope and connect with our communities. We remind ourselves that we can choose joy and light in the face of darkness. We reach out to connect with our fellow beings on this tiny little bright blue planet we all call home. Our Star Wars decorations bring random strangers, neighbors and new friends to my home to share fellowship and joy. In the tone of Yoda: “No greater gift there is than a generous heart.” Isn’t that the spirit of Christmas?

I’m ticked off at the Ticked off! editors who refuse to publish submissions critical of the antimask and anti-vax people. Don’t you know you’re helping to prolong the misery of this pandemic?

I’m extremely ticked off that my rent is being increased by 28%. There needs to be a law passed to protect renters!

To the person ticked off about Florida news featuring Disney and traffic accidents. You ask, “Isn’t there anything else?” Yes there is, and I’m ticked off at both of them. I’m so tired of hearing about Tom Brady and Tiger Woods. Yes, Brady would have thrown his ball with a little better spiral than Captain Kangaroo and Tiger would have hit a 7 iron to get out of his bathroom but who really cares? I don’t. Yes, they’re somewhat good at their games, but there has to be something else.

The path this once great nation is on ticks me off!

The flip side

Thank you to Mary from the Orange County Public Library System Request Line. One of the CDs I checked out got stuck in my CD player. She suggested that I unplug the player so it could reset itself. That worked. It came out and she saved me over $20 which would have been the replacement fee.
