Ticked off! @puzzle page

-

To the person who can’t find white fudge Flipz pretzels, check Walmart [look at the front end by the registers], and Dollar Tree. I’m in Pinellas County and they are available here, hopefully you can find them in your area.

I am ticked off at attorneys who use military personnel to advertise their services. Inappropriate! They should do ads of themselves chasing an ambulance down the street to a car accident.

I am ticked off that the puzzle page has not announced a date for the braille edition. With the miniscule letters in its present form I am confident I shall soon need it.

Why are so many street ID signs in Palm Bay so hard to find? On eastbound Malabar Road at San Filippo, the San Filippo sign is over the oncoming lanes of the four-lane road. In several other four-way intersections the crossstreet’s sign is across the street, also on the left side; none on the right.

And who’s the genius who named a major eastwest thoroughfare Port Malabar Road, when another east-west connector, Malabar Road, is only blocks away?

People that can’t think for themselves during this so-called pandemic tick me off! The government doesn’t need to tell us how to live!

It’s very annoying that the local news anchor on the commercials says, “Whether it’s COVID nineteeeen” instead of just “nineteen.” Stop it!

The flip side

I would like to thank Amelia at the Orange County Auto Tag Center for the outstanding service that she provided to us. There was confusion as to how much my husband owed to renew the license tag on his pickup. She explained that the state had changed the expiration dates on pickup trucks and that was why what we owed was different from what was on the statement. She went above and beyond to assist us, even calling Tallahassee to make sure that the change had taken place.
